<li>LAPTOP TURN IN!  Sophomores will hand in their laptops tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22, and Freshmen will hand in their laptops Thursday, May 23.  All students, the following must be done PRIOR to handing the laptops in:  If you have ANY work that you will need for exams, either print it out or save it to a flash drive.  You will not have your laptops for exams.  If you have anything on the laptop you want, save it to a flash drive as the laptop will be wiped with what we call a giveaway-image. Nothing will be saved by the IT department and we will assume no responsibility for lost files.</li>
<li>Just a reminder to students who have picked up the applications for the Monsignor Schmidt Scholarship – those completed applications are due in the main office today, May 21.</li>
<li>Dodge, Duck, dip, dive, Dodge!  Let the games begin!  It’s time for the annual dodge ball tournament at the school picnic.  This year is sure to be a good one with the defending title winners, Dodging Devil Donkeys returning to compete.  We are limiting the competition to the first 16 teams registering.  There is a $20 team registration fee due with your application.  Forms are available in room 211.</li>
<li>Scholarship “Thank You” letters are due for both Mother Seton and private scholarships.  Please turn them in to room 101.  They are due NOW!</li>

<li>Ebeid Hospice at Flower Hospital is looking for volunteers to help keep the grounds looking beautiful a couple of hours a week through the summer working with mulch, weeding and planting.  St. Joe&#8217;s Sylvania Church needs volunteer counselors for their Vacation Bible School from Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19.  Hours are 8:40 a.m. to noon everyday. There is one training session on Wednesday, July 10, at 9 a.m.</li>
<li>Josina Lott is hosting its 2nd Annual Jog and Jaunt on June 15 and is in need of volunteers for set up, check-in, registration, monitors and clean-up.  If interested in any of these service opportunities please see Mrs. Stein in room 108 for sign up details.</li>

<li>Congratulations to the following Lady Irish Track Team members who earned All Three Rivers Athletic Conference honors in Friday’s track meet:  Lexi Truss placed 3<sup>rd</sup> in the 100 meters, in the 4&#215;800 – Emily Durbak, Megan Hanenkrath, Byrdy Galernik, and Jen Vliet.  Placing 3<sup>rd</sup> in the 4&#215;100 relay were Jhameria Hooks, AuJanae Mack, Kara Dotson and Lexi Tress; Megan Hankrath place 3<sup>rd</sup> in the 800 meter.  The following students place 1<sup>st</sup> in their events – in the 4&#215;200 relay were Jhameria Hooks, AuJanae Mack, Kiana McClendon and Lexi Truss; in the 400 meter dash was Kiana McClendon and 1<sup>st</sup> place in the 4&#215;400 relay went to Emily Durbak, Byrdy Galernik and Megan Hanenkrath.  Way to go Ladies!</li>

<li>The Lady Irish Track team completed the 1<sup>st</sup> day of action in the TRAC Championships.  Congratulations to: 4&#215;800 Relay team of Jen Vliet, Megan Hanenkrath, Byrdy Galernik and Emily Durbak earned 2<sup>nd</sup> team all conference by finishing 2<sup>nd</sup> with a time of 9:57.  Victoria Barringer finished 4<sup>th</sup> in the shot put with a throw of 35 feet.  Megan Hanenkrath finished 6<sup>th</sup> in the high jump 4’8”.   Competition continues Friday with the following girls qualifying to Friday’s finals: 100 meters – Lexi Truss and Jhameria Hooks, 100 hurdles – Kara Dotson, 400 meters – Kiana McClendon and JaKiya Gaston, 300 hurdles – Talia Biddle and Kara Dotson, 200 Meters – Kiana McClendon and Lexi Truss.  Good luck at the Finals tomorrow.</li>

<li>Listen up Irish Nation!  We have a couple of big games tonight.  The grass is green and ready for spectators on the third base line hill at Mercy Field as the Irish baseball team takes on St. Francis at 5 p.m.  The first 50 students in the gate with their student ID will receive a red and white stripe beach towel to sit on and watch the game.  The Lady Irish softball team is also in action here at Shillelagh Field against Notre Dame at 5 p.m.  It should be a great night for ball so pick a team and come on out and enjoy the action.</li>
