Women’s History Month Q&A - Brittley Grodi, ‘07

Brittley Grodi is in her 3rd year as the Assistant Director of Enrollment and 6th year overall working at her alma mater. A 2007 graduate, Brittley meets with 8th-grade students around the Toledo area and introduces them and their families to Central Catholic High School. A highlight for Brittley is getting the opportunity to share the CCHS experience with students. During her time as a student at the “Home of the Irish,” Brittley was a 4-year member of the cheerleading team. After graduation, Brittley attended Monroe County Community College and The University of Toledo, earning a bachelor’s degree in graphic design in 2011. She returned to CCHS in 2016 and worked 4 years in the main office before assuming her current role.

What advice would you give to women in your respective field?
Advice I would give women today would be to project confidence in all that you do. Learn something new every day and be open to growth and opportunities that are presented to you.

Tell us about a woman you look up to & why.
I am most inspired by the women in my family. My grandmother and mother always put others first and support the family in all ways possible. I hope to 1 day do that for my family as well.

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?
WHM is about honoring and celebrating all women. During this month, it is important to bring light to the hard work and accomplishments of those around you. The work of women all around us shapes and influences us in our daily lives.

What do you love about Central Catholic High School?
Central Catholic is such a special and unique place. My amazing experience at CCHS as a student is what brought me back as an adult. It is much more than a job. it is truly a 2nd home to me. What I love most about Central Catholic is our students!!! They are strong, kind, and eager to motivate each other. The energy our students bring to our building is indescribable.
