Scholarships

Central Catholic High School is fortunate to have generous donors who allow the school to provide academic and financially-based scholarships. To better serve our families, the scholarship application has been combined with the FACTS Financial Aid Application. The deadline for priority consideration is March 1, 2024.

There are a number of scholarships requiring letters of recommendation. Principals, Teachers, Pastors, or Coaches please click on the “Staff / Faculty Recommendation” box below to complete the recommendation. As with the FACTS Financial Aid Application, the deadline for priority consideration is March 1, 2024.

Mother Seton Scholarship

Mother Seton is considered to be the foundress of American Catholic Schools. The Mother Seton Scholarship is a $4,000 scholarship ($1,000 per year and eligible for renewal) to Central Catholic High School. The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible:

• Student must graduate from a Catholic grade school.

• CCHS must be the student’s first choice on the High School Placement Test.

• Only incoming freshman are eligible for the scholarship and subsequent renewals.

Criteria to renew the scholarship each year is as follows:

• Student must commit to continue a relationship with their parish. For returning families, please complete the attached form and submit it to the Financial Services Office (Room 104) by May 31, 2024.  Please click here for the renewal form.

• Student must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA.

• Student must maintain a good disciplinary record with no D’s or F’s in conduct.

• Student’s parent or guardian must complete a FACTS Financial Aid Application.

EdChoice Scholarship

The Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program provides students from designated public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools. The program also provides low-income students who are entering K-12th grade scholarship opportunities.
