Becoming Irish Video Series

A new video will be introduced each week.

Becoming Irish #1

This is the first in a series of videos introducing our incoming class of 2024 to the Irish Family. Board of Directors President Mike Boyle ’70 shares what makes CCHS such a special place. He calls it “the best high school in America,” and we couldn’t agree more. Class of 2024, we are thrilled that one day you will join the ranks of thousands of alumni who love the home of the Irish, just like Mike.

Becoming Irish #2

Ms. Mona McGhee, CCHS Student Success Director, brings the Irish spirit to our students and families every day. A staple of the Irish family for 16 years, she is here to make the word “success” a part of your everyday vocabulary! You can find her in the Kress Family Library.

Your enrollment office director, Mr. Cory Lehman ’08, and asst. director, Ms. Brittley Grodi ’07, are here to walk with you through every step of the enrollment process. Becoming Irish #11

Alfred Dailey ’19 returns to share some words of wisdom with the incoming class of 2024. Alfred did it all during his time at CCHS: Superfella, lead in the musical, football captain and Ohio state Defensive Player of the Year, and Kairos retreat leader, to name a few. In this clip, he encourages our freshmen to try new things and step out of their comfort zone in order to get the best Irish experience possible. Alfred is truly Irish for life.
