What subjects and grade levels do you teach at Central Catholic?
I am the building substitute as well as a test tutor. I’m currently in a long-term substitute assignment for Mrs. McKinley in the Social Studies department.
Where did you teach before coming to CCHS?
CCHS is the first school where I have taught! Last year, I worked part time as a substitute here.
What is your educational background?
I graduated from Central Catholic in 2014! Following that, I received my bachelor's degree in agricultural and medical biotechnology from the University of Kentucky in 2018, and I just graduated this spring with a master's in bioinformatics from The University of Toledo.
What inspired you to become a teacher?
Working as a substitute at Central Catholic opened my eyes to the teaching profession. I love to learn and to help others learn.
What made you want to become a teacher at Central Catholic?
I have many fond memories of CCHS from my time here, I met some of my best friends here, and just want to help the next students in my shoes to achieve their goals.
What have you learned about CCHS that you didn’t know before?
It’s just like I remember it!
