2 Fighting Irish Soccer Players Collect Postseason All-CHSL Honors

Two members of the Central Catholic boys’ soccer team have been recognized for their efforts on the pitch with Catholic High School League (CHSL) postseason accolades.

Senior Dylan Hegedus collected All-Catholic and All-Academic laurels, while classmate Camdyn Ditmyer was named All-League.

Hegedus is receiving postseason honors for the 3rd-straight year and Ditmyer is collecting accolades for the 2nd-consecutive season.

A center midfielder and captain, Hegedus totaled a squad-best 15 goals and 6 assists (21 points) during the fall.  A center defender/sweeper and captain, Ditmyer registered 3 markers and 2 helpers (8 points).  

Under of the direction of head coach Ross France, the Scarlet & Gray posted a 6-12 overall record in 2024.
