Boys’ Basketball Sustains 1st Loss at Lima Senior in Non-League Matchup, 76-62

The Central Catholic boys’ basketball team sustained a 76-62 loss at Lima Senior on Saturday in non-conference action at the LSHS Gymnasium.  With the setback, the Fighting Irish fall to 4-1 on the season.

CCHS was outscored 24-13 in the pivotal 4th quarter against the host Spartans to suffer its 1st loss in 2024-25.

Junior Manny Johnson paced Central Catholic with 18 points, followed by sophomore Cayden Kynard and junior Draden Wardrop with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Isaiah Wilson led Lima Senior with a game-high 24 points on the strength of 6 triples.  Willie Foster added 15 points, while Shawn Foster had 12 points in the home triumph.

The Fighting Irish return to the hardwood at Gilmour Academy on Tuesday, December 31, starting with the freshmen game at Noon.
