Brian Bishop Collects Second-Team All-Ohio Accolades

Central Catholic boys’ soccer player Brian Bishop has been named Division II second-team All-Ohio, according to the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (OSSCA).

A junior forward, Bishop tallied a team-high 24 goals and 11 assists (35 total points) during the fall. He was also selected first-team All-District and first-team All-TRAC.

Bishop becomes the first CCHS player to receive all-state recognition since CJ Buchele earned Division II first-team honors following the 2019 campaign.

Bishop helped lead the Fighting Irish to an 11-7-2 overall record in 2021 and secure a sectional championship.
