CCHS Fall 2020 CYO Outstanding Athletes

The CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) invites high school coaches from each sport to nominate a player for the CYO Outstanding High School Athlete award.  The players must be senior varsity athletes who participated in the CYO sports program while in grade school, and they must have good academic and disciplinary records as well as strong leadership qualities.  The nominees must also serve as positive role models for current players in the CYO program.  

The Central Catholic fall sport athletes who were honored with this CYO award were: 

• Gio DeSantis - football, Maumee St. Joseph

• Madisin Hill - volleyball, St. Joan of Arc 

• Nicole Knerr - cross country, Little Flower 

• Madison Moody - soccer, Blessed Sacrament

• Jacob Peters - soccer, St. Patrick of Heatherdowns
