CCHS will Celebrate GivingTuesday on November 29

This GivingTuesday, Central Catholic High School will inspire generosity by appealing to its alumni and friends to support current students and future community leaders. The school joins millions around the world participating in the event on November 29.

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 29 and throughout the year.

Central Catholic participates in the GivingTuesday movement to help ensure that students can continue experiencing the quality, Catholic education that we provide.

For over a century, Central Catholic High School has been a cornerstone of the Toledo community. It is one of the largest co-educational, college prep Catholic high schools in Ohio. Our extensive programs provide something for every ability and interest. Dedicated teachers are invested in students’ success, and our unmatched learning opportunities prepare students to go out and make an amazing impact in their communities and the world.

This year, our goal is to raise $30,000 on GivingTuesday and to have at least 100 donors support Central Catholic High School on that day. To join Central Catholic’s GivingTuesday initiative, please follow these simple steps:

· Go to www.centralcatholic.org on November 29 to make your GivingTuesday donation.

· If you are unable to or prefer not to give online, you may write a check dated November 29, 2022, include “GivingTuesday” on the memo line, and mail it to Central Catholic High School at 2550 Cherry St., Toledo, OH 43608.

· Or you may bring a check or cash to Central Catholic on November 29 to make your donation.

All donations made online November 29, via check dated November 29, or dropped off in person November 29 will be processed as GivingTuesday donations. A record of these donations will make Central Catholic eligible for additional grant funding from the Greater Toledo Community Foundation.

“The support of countless benefactors makes the mission of Central Catholic High School a reality,” said Head of School Kevin Parkins. “Giving Tuesday has become a way to feel connected with other donors on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The connection to Thanksgiving is immense, we have much to be grateful for and much to celebrate. We appreciate all those who support CCHS!”
