Central Catholic to Offer Several Summer Camps in June & July
Central Catholic will offer summer athletic and enrichment camps during the months of June and July, serving students from Pre-K through incoming freshmen. Registration for athletic camps can be found at CentralCatholic.org/summercamps.
The following enrichment camps are available:
ACT Booster: June 9-12
Freshman Success: June 16-19 & July 14-17
Theatre: July 21-23
Irish Drumline: TBD
Camps are available for the following sports:
Dance: June 2-4
Girls’ Lacrosse - June 2-4
Girls' Basketball - June 5-6
Baseball: June 9-11
Girls' Volleyball - June 9-11
Boys' Basketball: June 16-18
Football: June 19-20
Cheer: June 24-25
Softball: TBD
Boys' & Girls' Soccer: TBD
Each athletic camp will feature:
Instruction from Central Catholic staff
Fun, competitive games
Skill-improving drills
Firsthand playing experience at top-notch Irish athletic facilities
Instruction, competition, and games are designed to address the age and maturity level of the camper. They will be instructed by an experienced staff person recognized for their ability to teach his or her respective class/sport in an enthusiastic and safe way. It is our goal that each young camper leaves Cherry Street with improved fundamentals, new friends, and fond memories of a positive experience at Central Catholic.
“Central Catholic’s athletic camps give young athletes the opportunity to improve their fundamental skills and learn new skills to take into their upcoming sports seasons, helping to make them better players,” said Athletic Director and Football Coach, Greg Dempsey (Class of 1990). “Our campers will also have the chance to work with some of the finest coaches and players in Northwest Ohio.”
Central Catholic participates in the ACE (Afterschool Child Enrichment) Educational Savings Program, which provides qualifying families with a $1,000 credit per child. These funds can be used to pay for a variety of educational activities designed to help accelerate learning. For more information on this program, please go to education.ohio.gov/OhioACE.
