Coach Greg Dempsey Reaches Career Milestone

The Fighting Irish victory over St. Francis de Sales in the annual battle for the Irish Knight on Friday, October 25 was the 200th career win for Coach Greg Dempsey!  Mr. Parkins presented him with a memento of the milestone after the game, and his family joined him on the field to celebrate. 

This is Coach Dempsey’s 20th season heading up the Fighting Irish for his alma mater (Class of 1990).  His overall record now stands at 200-47 with three state titles.

The victory also means that Central Catholic has won the battle for the Irish Knight 16 years in a row!
