Get to Know CCHS Administrator - Erica Tyburski, ‘04
Central Catholic welcomes back 2004 graduate Erica Tyburski to work as an administrative assistant to Head of School Kevin Parkins, and to support the administrative team.
“Being a graduate of CCHS, I know how special this Irish community is, so when the opportunity opened up to come back to my alma mater, it was a dream come true!” Erica said. “My career has taken me to both the corporate work sector and, most recently, to the nonprofit field. I think those two roles have prepared me well for exactly what is needed in this position at Central Catholic.”
When she was a student at Central Catholic, Erica played volleyball and her favorite class was Mr. Heinze’s drama class. She remembers reciting the Serenity Prayer in her classes, and that’s something she carried with her because she felt it was so powerful. She continues to say it herself every day.
Erica has a degree in healthcare administration. She and her husband, Jeff, have been married for almost 11 years and have two children, Jeffrey (12) and Hillary (7). They both attend Christ the King. The family also has a black lab named Ziggy.
Erica and her husband enjoy going to concerts. She loves cooking and baking, especially new things she stumbles upon on Pinterest. She also likes listening to podcasts and spending time with family and friends.
