Three Boys’ Soccer Players Register All-District Laurels

A group of 3 Central Catholic boys’ soccer players have been touted for their performances on the pitch with Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (NWOSSCA) postseason accolades.

Senior Brian Bishop was named Division II 1st-team all-district, senior Will Rudski was selected 2nd-team, and sophomore Dylan Hegedus garnered honorable mention honors.

Bishop and Rudski are receiving all-district acknowledgement for the 3rd-consecutive year.

This fall, the Fighting Irish finished 6-11-2 overall, including 1-5-1 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC). Individually, Bishop and Rudski collected 1st-team all-league recognition, while Hegedus registered honorable mention honors.

Bishop led the Fighting Irish with 45 points (22 goals, 23 assists), followed by Rudski and Hegedus with 40 (21 goals, 19 assists) and 15 points (8 goals, 7 assists), respectively.
