Students Hold Mock Trial

In order to practice their public speaking and critical thinking skills and learn how to form persuasive, cohesive arguments, Central Catholic’s debate students held a mock trial.  They learned about legal concepts and practiced their roles in an imitation criminal case, and they invited fellow classmates, faculty, and staff members to serve as their jury. The students presented their case, and the jury deliberated and rendered their verdict.
