11 Fighting Irish Football Players Register Postseason All-CHSL Laurels

Eleven members of the Central Catholic football team garnered All-CHSL accolades, the Catholic High School League announced earlier this week. The Scarlet & Gray’s 11 honorees are the 2nd-most in the CHSL.

The Fighting Irish (8-1, 5-1 CHSL) had 5 players collect All-Catholic honors.  That list included junior WR Preston Fryzel, senior RB Tyler Morgan, senior DL Isaiah Seiler, junior CB Victor Singleton, Jr. and senior DL Curtis Strode, Jr.  The duo of Singleton and Strode are earning all-conference laurels for the 2nd-straight year.

Five Fighting Irish also received All-League honors. They included senior LB Michael Besteda, senior CB Anthony Lawrence, Jr., junior OL Zenaje Liggons, senior DE/TE Dominic Spinazze II, and junior WR Sharard Vaughn III.

In addition, senior DB Desmond Flowers was tabbed to the All-Academic squad.
