3 Boys’ Soccer Players Garner Postseason All-CHSL Accolades
A trio of Central Catholic boys’ soccer players have been recognized for their efforts on the pitch with Catholic High School League (CHSL) postseason laurels.
Junior captain Dylan Hegedus garnered All-Catholic accolades, junior Camdyn Dittmyer was named All-League, and senior Ian Griffin collected All-Academic honors.
Hegedus is receiving postseason laurels for the 2nd-straight year. Last fall, he earned honorable mention All-TRAC honors.
The Scarlet & Gray will begin postseason play against Maumee this evening in the 1st round of the Division II Sectional Tournament. The No. 9 seed in the Lake District, CCHS will battle No. 1 seed Panthers at 5 p.m. at Kazmaier Stadium.
