3 Volleyball Players Collect Postseason All-CHSL Laurels
A trio of Central Catholic volleyball players have been recognized for their efforts on the court with Catholic High School League (CHSL) postseason accolades.
Senior captain Sophia Farrugia collected All-Catholic laurels, senior Kelly Kitz was named All-League, and senior captain Sophia Fouty garnered All-Academic honors.
Farrugia is receiving postseason recognition for the 2nd-consecutive year. Last fall, she earned honorable mention All-TRAC honors.
The Scarlet & Gray will begin postseason play against Otsego on Tuesday, Oct. 17 in the 1st round of the Division II Sectional Tournament. The No. 8 seed in the Swanton District, CCHS will battle the No. 2 seed Knights at 6 p.m. at Otsego HS.
