Addison Winkler Shines Bright at Sectional Championships

Central Catholic swimming & diving senior captain Addison Winkler excelled in a pair of events at the Division II Sectional Championships on Saturday at Ayersville High School.

Winkler posted times of 2:41.44 in the 200 Individual Medley and 1:10.88 in the 100 Butterfly to advance to the District Championships for the 2nd time.   

A 4-year letterwinner in the pool, Winkler will now compete on Friday, February 14 at the Student Recreation Center on the campus of Bowling Green State University.

Winkler currently holds the school record in the 200 IM (2:40.18) and 100 Butterfly (1:10.25).  She is also a part of the record-setting 200 Medley Relay, along with Addison Brinkman, Jordan Traver, and Katie Dittman.
