Andrea Biederman Named Head of Intervention Services Department
Andrea Biederman has been named Head of Intervention Services at Central Catholic. Our intervention services department works with students who may need extra help to succeed in school. Andrea previously worked as an intervention specialist, along with Eric Deliman and Madison Griffin, evaluating students’ skills to identify their needs, planning activities, tracking progress, and working with teachers and parents to ensure students’ needs are met. In her new role, Andrea will continue to see students, but she will also work to coordinate related services with our faculty.
This is Andrea’s 4th year at Central Catholic. She graduated from Edgerton High School, has a bachelor’s degree in special education from St. Mary's College/University of Toledo, and has a master’s in educational leadership and administration from Lourdes University. Prior to joining the staff at CCHS, she worked in both public and charter schools, including virtual settings, and spent 5 years outside the classroom as a special education teacher trainer.
“At Central Catholic, we believe in supporting growth, unlocking potential, and staying rooted in faith,” Andrea said. “I’m proud to see our students thrive, and I’m inspired daily by their perseverance and passion for learning. With the dedication of our parents, administrators, and teachers, we are committed to building and strengthening an inclusive, faith-filled, and empowering learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to succeed.”
“Andrea is an incredible asset to our interventions services department and has been a leader since she began at CCHS,” said Principal Morgan Connors. “She works tirelessly with her colleagues to support our students to be successful at Central Catholic and beyond. We are excited for this leadership role for Andrea and know she will continue to thrive here.”
