Bella & Lucia Spinazze Secure Sectional Crown in Doubles Action

Seniors Bella and Lucia Spinazze captured a girls’ tennis Division II sectional title in doubles play on Saturday at Ottawa Hills High School.

Bella and Lucia defeated Bryan High School's Emilee Bassett and Reese Grothaus 6-1, 6-1 in the sectional final.

The twin sisters, who were both recently named first-team All-Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC), will now advance to the District Championship on Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 13-16 at Port Clinton High School.

Earlier this fall, Bella secured a first-place finish at No. 2 singles at the TRAC Championship at Oregon Clay High School.
