Bella Spinazze Named School Winner of Heisman High School Scholarship

Senior Bella Spinazze has been named a School Winner in the Heisman High School Scholarship competition awarded by the Heisman Trophy Trust and Acceptance Insurance.

The Heisman High School Scholarship program recognizes outstanding scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories happen not only on the field, but in their schools and communities. To qualify, students must be seniors with a cumulative high school grade-point average of 3.0 or better, participate in at least one sport, and be a leader in the school and community.

Bella is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spiritual Commission, and Sideline Spirit at Central Catholic. She tutors students and helps with the Summer Success program. She is also a member of the girls’ tennis team, and she and her sister, Lucia, represented Central Catholic at the OHSAA State Tennis Championships after winning the 2021 Division II doubles district title.

The Heisman Memorial Trophy annually recognizes the most outstanding football player in the nation. The Heisman High School Scholarship extends the Heisman prestige to our nation’s most esteemed high school seniors by recognizing and rewarding outstanding scholar-athletes who set the example and make a game-changing difference every day, paving the way to greatness for everyone around them.
