Four Boys’ Soccer Players Collect All-District Honors

A group of four Central Catholic boys’ soccer players have been touted for their performances on the pitch with Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (NWOSSCA) postseason honors.

Junior Brian Bishop was named first-team all-district, while senior Amaar Zarrieff, senior Luke Mikolajczyk and junior Will Rudski garnered honorable mention honors.

Zarrieff is receiving postseason acknowledgement for a third-consecutive year, while Bishop and Rudski are collecting all-district honors for a second time.

Zarrieff also earned honorable mention honors each of the last two falls. In addition, both Bishop and Rudski garnered honorable mention recognition last year.

This fall, the Fighting Irish finished 11-7-2 overall, including 2-4-1 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC). Individually, Bishop was named first-team all-league, Zarrieff earned second-team laurels, while Mikolajczyk and Rudski collected honorable mention honors.
