Get to Know CCHS Staffulty Member - Hunter Kohls

- How long have you worked at Central Catholic, and what subjects and grade levels do you teach?
This is my 2nd year at Central Catholic, and I teach business classes to students in grades 9-12, including Personal Money Management, General Business, Marketing, and Accounting.

- What is your educational background? 
I attended Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati. I earned a BBA in business economics from the University of Cincinnati, and I am working toward a Master’s of Science in accounting at the University of Michigan. 

- What did you do before joining the CCHS faculty?
Before joining the CCHS faculty, I was a football coach at Siena Heights University (2018-22) and Adrian College (2022).

- What inspired you to become a teacher?
Teaching began for me as I became a coach. I ultimately decided to expand my teaching into the classroom as well.

- What made you want to teach at Central Catholic?
Central Catholic reminds me of my high school in many ways, so it felt like home.

- What impact do you hope to make on your students?
I hope to help my students to be well rounded, respectful individuals in everyday life.

- What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I enjoy cooking and traveling.
