Girls’ Basketball Dismantles Oregon Clay in TRAC Contest, 57-17

The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team posted a dominating 57-17 win against Oregon Clay on Thursday in the Clay HS Potter Field House. With the double-digit road victory, the Fighting Irish improve to 7-0 overall, 5-0 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference. 

The unbeaten Fighting Irish raced out to an early 16-4 lead against the Eagles and never looked back.

Sophomore Brooklyn Vaughn led the Scarlet & Gray with a game-high 12 points.

Camryn Reiter and Brynn Reiter paced the Eagles with four points each.

Earlier in the evening, the CCHS Junior Varsity squad claimed a 26-24 triumph against Clay.

Central Catholic will return to the hardwood against Perrysburg on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Junior Varsity will get things started at 5:45 pm in the Sullivan Center, followed by Varsity at 7:15 pm.
