Girls’ Basketball Tabbed to Finish 1st in TRAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll
The Blade released its annual Three Rivers Athletic Conference Girls' Basketball Preseason Poll on Wednesday and Central Catholic is the unanimous favorite to successfully repeat, according to voting from the league's 8 head coaches.
The Fighting Irish received all 8 of the 1st-place votes and 64 total points, 9 more than runner-up Fremont Ross (53).
Notre Dame Academy was 3rd in the coaches poll with 46 votes. Whitmer (37 points) was tabbed 4th, followed by Findlay, St. Ursula Academy, Clay, and Lima Senior.
A season ago, CCHS finished with a 24-2 overall record, including a perfect 14-0 ledger in the TRAC. The Scarlet & Gray captured its first outright conference championship and advanced to the regional semifinal of the OHSAA Division II State Tournament.

The Scarlet & Gray will tipoff its season against Perkins on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 2:30 pm in the newly remodeled Sullivan Center.
