Trio of Fighting Irish Hoopsters Earn Postseason Recognition
A trio of Central Catholic boys and girls basketball players have been recognized for their efforts on the hardwood with All-Northwest District Division II accolades. Sophomore Chico Johnson was named first-team all-district, senior Kaitlyn Moeller was tabbed to the second team and classmate Chloe Crawford earned third-team recognition.
A first-team All-TRAC performer this past winter, Johnson poured in a team-high 15.5 ppg and helped the Fighting Irish capture their first district title since 2011.
Moeller contributed 10.5 ppg en route to garnering first-team all-conference honors, while Crawford averaged a squad-best 13.0 ppg and collected second-team all-league laurels.
