Wrestling Competes at McCumber Invitational on Saturday

The Central Catholic wrestling team competed at the McCumber Invitational on Saturday at the Rossford Field House.

Highlighting the Fighting Irish’s efforts were 1st-place finishes by sophomore Emilio Herrera at 106 pounds and junior Michael Cannings II at heavyweight. In addition, senior Andrew-Carter Price placed 2nd at 175 pounds at the 1-day event.

Central Catholic will return to the mat for the Three Rivers Athletics Conference Championship on Friday, Feb. 17 at Fremont Ross High School.
