What subjects and grade levels do you teach? 

I teach Advanced Placement U.S. History to sophomores, College Prep American History to sophomores, and Rights & Protests in the 20th Century to juniors and seniors.

How long have you been teaching at Central Catholic? 

This is my 13th year at CCHS.

What is your educational background? 

I attended Adrian College where I majored in history education and minored in business administration.  I also played basketball there.

What is the best kept secret about Central Catholic? 

Central Catholic has a family atmosphere and spirit that is unmatched.  The Irish community never fails to come together in support of one another, and the spirit in the building is alive and well.  Central Catholic just feels like home!

What inspired you to become a teacher? 

The idea of being able to make a positive impact on the lives of young people inspired me to become a teacher and continues to inspire me today.

What do you like most about teaching at Central Catholic? 

The students I teach inspire me every day to be the best version of myself.  The opportunity to teach at Central Catholic has not only made me a better educator but has made me a better person.
