Boys’ Basketball Emerges Victorious vs. Central Bucks East (Pa.) in 2nd Game of Cactus Jam, 48-46

The Central Catholic boys’ basketball team registered a hard-fought 48-46 victory against Central Bucks East (Pa.) on Wednesday at the Cactus Jam Tournament in Phoenix. With the neutral site win at Sunnyslope HS, CCHS improves to 5-1 on the season.

Senior Michael Greenlee Jr. and junior Isaiah Brenneman led the Fighting Irish with 11 points each, followed closely by sophomore Makhi Leach and senior Ty’Waun Clark with 10 and 9 points, respectively.

Tyler Dandrea and Justin DiRoberto each tallied 12 points for the Patriots (9-1), which suffered their 1st loss of the season.

Central Catholic will return to the hardwood against Cleveland Heights on Friday, Dec. 30 at 1:30 MT (3:30 pm ET) in the tourney championship game at Sunnyslope HS.
