CCHS Recognizes Alumnus Charles A. Sullivan

Central Catholic High School would like to recognize Mr. Charles A. Sullivan from the Class of 1953, who passed away on Saturday.

Without the support of Mr. Sullivan and his wife, Jackie, Central Catholic would not have the Sullivan Center.  He gave us the major, lead gift to build this state-of-the-art convocation center that we use for school Masses and activities, athletic contests, and community events.

What fewer people realize is how much Mr. Sullivan supported Central Catholic students academically.  For over 20 years, the Sullivan Scholarship Fund has helped top students to attend Central Catholic High School.  Mr. Sullivan created the scholarship in honor of his parents, Arthur and Eleanor Sullivan, as a way to continue the academic excellence that is a tradition at Central Catholic.

We would like to thank Mr. Sullivan for his gifts and the opportunities he has provided to the students of Central Catholic High School and to the Irish community.

Mr. Sullivan’s complete obituary can be read at https://legcy.co/3EjfUwy.
