Central Catholic Has Five Student-Athletes Take Part in National Signing Day

Central Catholic High School celebrated the second Letter of Intent National Signing Day for the Class of 2022 this afternoon in the Sullivan Center. Today’s special event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 2 but was postponed due to inclement weather.

The Fighting Irish had five student-athletes participate in signing day. Dating back to the first National Signing Day in December, the Scarlet & Gray has had 12 seniors sign their names on the dotted line to play a sport at the collegiate level.

The following student-athletes were recognized today for their success and their commitments to continue their education and athletic careers at the next level.

· Dylan Fisher: Ohio Dominican University, Football (2021 DII 2nd-Team All-Ohio, 1st-Team All-Northwest District, 1st-Team All-TRAC)

·. Josh Lee: Hillsdale College, Football (2021 2nd-Team All-Northwest District, 1st-Team All-TRAC)

·. Sam Lee: Hillsdale College, Football (2021 DII 1st-Team All-Ohio, 1st-Team All-Northwest District, 1st-Team All-TRAC)

·. Peyton Reasonover: University of Toledo, Football (2021 DII 1st-Team All-Ohio, 1st-Team All-Northwest District, 1st-Team All-TRAC)

·. Malon Barbour: Ohio Dominican University, Football

·. Chris Jackson: Campbell University, Football (2021 DII 1st-Team All-Ohio, DII District Defensive Player of the Year, 1st-Team All-TRAC)
