Girls’ Basketball Takes Down TRAC Foe Findlay, 46-32

The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team posted a 46-32 victory against Findlay on Thursday at the Findlay High School Main Gym. With the double-digit road win, the Fighting Irish improve to 14-0 overall, 9-0 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference. 

Senior Brinn Hunt led a balanced CCHS squad with 13 points, helping the Scarlet & Gray sweep the regular-season series vs. the Trojans. Central Catholic registered a 42-25 home triumph against Findlay on Dec. 2.

Junior Mary Ellis and sophomore Corniya Clay also chipped in 11 points each to keep the Fighting Irish undefeated on the season.

Katelyn Stech paced the Trojans with 12 points.

Earlier in the evening, the CCHS junior varsity dropped a 49-17 decision against Findlay.

Central Catholic will return to the hardwood against non-league opponent Ottawa-Glandorf on Saturday, Jan. 22. Junior varsity will get things started at 11 am in the Robert J.
