"I hear all the time from parents how great our summer offerings are for their students,” said Central Catholic Principal Morgan Delp.  “We are so excited to bring back academic camps that were a hit last summer, like our Art Camp, and expand upon our offerings for the summer of 2024.  There is something for all 3rd-8th grade elementary students at CCHS this summer, including the new additions of Drama Camp and Baking Camp.  Students will have the opportunity to get a taste of our Chemistry in Life course through baking and decorating their own baked goods, and in Drama Camp, they will have the opportunity to work with our amazing drama students in a workshop-style camp experience.

“Also new this summer is the Academic Boot Camp.  Extending the enriching offerings to our incoming and returning students, we are now inviting rising 7th and 8th graders to grow academically with our enthusiastic teachers.  Regardless of strengths and weaknesses, all students will combat summer brain-drain in this camp.  I am really excited for students from all over to experience the teaching and programming our students benefit from every day."

For the 2nd-straight summer, CCHS will participate in the ACE (Afterschool Child Enrichment) Educational Savings Program.  This program provides qualifying families with a $1,000 credit per child.  These funds can be used to pay for a variety of educational activities designed to help accelerate learning for children impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  For more information on this program, please go to education.ohio.gov/OhioACE.
