Fighting Irish Threesome Receive All-CHSL Laurels

Three members of the Central Catholic boys’ basketball team collected All-CHSL laurels, the Catholic High School League announced this week.

Highlighting the Scarlet & Gray’s honorees are sophomore Manny Johnson and freshman Isaiah Mack-Russell, who were chosen to the All-League Team.

In addition, senior Isaiah Brenneman garnered All-Academic honors. A 1st-team All-TRAC recipient a season ago, Brenneman is earning postseason accolades for the 2nd-straight year.

Mack-Russell has scored in double figures on a team-high 17 occasions this season, followed by Johnson (11 times) and Brenneman (5 occasions).

CCHS will wrap up its regular season against University Prep Art and Design on Friday, February 23 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sullivan Center. Tickets are currently available at bit.ly/3GUM8lG.
