Get to Know CCHS Administrator - Shannon Tunison

Shannon Tunison joined Central Catholic’s main office staff on August 5.  She works with attendance, answers phones, monitors the main entrance, greets students, staff, and visitors, and wears a lot of hats that she is still learning about!  She is a 2004 graduate of Whitmer High School and has an associate degree in applied science from Lincoln Institute of Technology.

“I was excited for the opportunity to work at Central Catholic because of the culture and atmosphere my family and friends that have attended CCHS boast about,” Shannon explained.  “I also have my own fond memories of Central when I was a kid, cheering on my cousin - football and track athlete Eric Komorowski from the Class of 1999 - and following the Irish girls’ basketball team to Columbus in the late 1990s.  The family feel here at Central Catholic was something I wanted to be a part of!”

Shannon and her husband, Dustin, celebrated 10 years of marriage on Thursday, August 25.  They have two teenage boys, Xavier and Maddix, and a daughter, Rowan.  Their dog, Tank, a Pit Bull/Shepherd/Shar Pei mix, will be 16 years old next month.

“Outside of work, I enjoy coaching my daughter's various sports teams and watching my boys play football, basketball, and baseball at the high school level,” Shannon said.  “I also enjoy playing co-ed volleyball and softball with my husband, playing with my dog, and spending time with family and friends, watching college football (Go Irish!) and checking out local restaurants and bands.”

Welcome to Central Catholic, Shannon!!!
