Get to Know CCHS Staffulty Member - Becky Schmakel

Becky Schmakel joined the Central Catholic staffulty on March 1.  She works in the main office as the volunteer coordinator and manager of special projects.  Her responsibilities include daily office activities, managing volunteers, assisting campus ministry with service hour monitoring, and managing special projects throughout the year, such as graduation.

Becky has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Maryville College.  Her husband, Bryan, is a 1998 CCHS graduate.  Their son, Brandon, graduated from Central Catholic in 2022, and their children, Madi and Logan, are freshmen at CCHS.  The family also has two dogs, Coco and Bailey.

“The staff I knew socially before working here talked about how much they enjoyed working at CCHS,” Becky said.  “I wanted to work at Central Catholic for the challenge of something new and to be on the same schedule with my children.”

Outside of work, Becky enjoys reading, camping, kayaking, and watching the kids’ sporting events.
