Taylor Scribner Pegged Student of the Month for April

Taylor Scribner is a junior and a member of the National Honor Society and the track & field team.  She is a sprinter and competes in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash.  She is also a part of the 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams, and last spring both teams won state championships!  Taylor is an Irish Ambassador, and she volunteers as a leader in the Summer Success academic program.

Outside of Central Catholic, Taylor participates in AAU track & field, and she is a member of Toledo Excel at the University of Toledo.  She volunteers at Winterfield Venture Academy, assisting students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade with hands-on classroom activities.

“My favorite things about CCHS are the family environment, the school spirit, and the love that the teachers have for the students,” Taylor said.

“Taylor has really stepped up in our department as an Irish Ambassador!” said Brittley Grodi, Assistant Director of Enrollment, who nominated Taylor for Student of the Month.  She has been a great leader to our Irish For A Day visitors, and she is kind, respectful, and caring.  She maintains a GPA over 4.0 and is active in track.  I think she is a great representation of a CCHS student.”

After high school, Taylor is interested in attending college to major in nursing while running track.
