I teach Spanish to grades 9-12 and Gospel Choir.

- What is your educational background?
I have a bachelor’s degree in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University.

- What inspired you to become a teacher?
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher.  I love working with children and enjoy helping them grow and learn.  During the pandemic, I decided to change careers from working in nonprofits and pursue the things that I love to do.

- What made you want to teach at Central Catholic?
I love my alma mater and I had an amazing experience when I attended here!  My brother, Alexander Scotland, was in the Class of 2007.  I hope to help students along their journey the way that we were helped.

I enjoy dancing, watching classic movies, and writing.
