Girls’ Basketball Takes Down Findlay in TRAC Matchup, 42-25

The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team registered an impressive 42-25 victory against Findlay on Thursday in the Sullivan Center. With the double-digit home triumph, CCHS improves to 3-0 overall, 2-0 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference.

Sophomore Emily Baer paced a balanced Fighting Irish attack with a game-high 12 points. Senior Brinn Hunt added 10 points, while juniors Mary Ellis and Jai'Lynne Hitt-Swartz had eight points each. Baer and Hunt have now scored in double figures in each of the first three contests this season.

Bri Nichols tallied nine points to lead the Trojans.

CCHS will return to the hardwood at Start on Monday, Dec. 6 in a non-conference matchup. The opening tip versus the Spartans is slated for 6:30 pm in the Roy C. Start High School Main Gym.
