Thank You for Supporting CCHS on Giving Tuesday!!!

On November 30, Central Catholic participated in #GivingTuesdayNWO, a day to celebrate giving in our community and around the world.  Our goal was to raise more than we have in any previous Giving Tuesday, and our amazing Irish Community came through!

We are thrilled to announce that through your generosity, Central Catholic raised nearly $30,000 in one day of giving!!!  This number will likely go up as we receive additional donations through the mail in the next few days.

One of our Giving Tuesday donors was Chris Billmaier ’77.  He and his wife, Cheryl, wanted to support Central Catholic because of the positive impact the school has had on their family.  Chris’s father, Dan Billmaier, graduated from CCHS in 1951, and his sons Steve ’09 and Nick ’13 had great experiences during their time at Central Catholic.

“You see the value of a Central Catholic education much more as a parent than as a student,” Chris said.  “The positive impact Central Catholic had on our two sons was impressive.  And I humbly admit I didn't realize the impact CCHS had on me until I saw the positive impact it had on my kids.  While we  recognize and are thankful for our sons’ many God-given talents, we think it is important to give credit to Central Catholic for the excellent job you have done with regard to the quality education and opportunities provided for our sons.  Central Catholic has been there to help keep their moral compasses pointed in the right direction during those critical formative years.

“We are blessed to have Central Catholic as a choice and we strongly recommend CCHS for both academic and spiritual reasons.  We sincerely thank everyone at Central Catholic who works and sacrifices to provide a great Catholic education and for the positive influence you have had on various members of our family.”
