Irish Dance Team (IDT) Qualifies for 2022 OASSA State Cheer & Dance Championships

The Irish Dance Team (IDT) has qualified for the 2022 OASSA State Cheer & Dance Championships in Hip Hop and Jazz routines. This year's state competition will take place on Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 26-27 at Pickerington North High School.

Head Coach Nikki Toland and IDT advanced to the state championships after competing at the Northwest Regionals this past weekend at nearby Anthony Wayne High School.

IDT will be in search of its fourth state title in Hip Hop and first in Jazz. They captured three-straight state championships in Hip Hop in 2018, 2019 and most recently 2020 (Large).

A year ago, IDT finished second in Hip Hop (Large) and fourth in Jazz (Small) at the state competition.
