Irish Dance Team Selected ”Best Choreography in Jazz” at State Championships

The Central Catholic Irish Dance Team was recognized for “Best Choreography in Jazz” at the 2024 OASSA State Cheer & Dance Championships on Sunday at Heath High School.  This award was voted on by the judges.

IDT also finished runner-up in the categories of Small Jazz and Large Hip-Hop at the state championships.

IDT has now finished Top 3 on 11 occasions since 2018, capturing 6 state titles. They have secured 5 state championships in Hip-Hop (2018, ’19, ’20, ’22, ‘23) and 1 in Jazz (2022).

IDT has 21 student-athletes on its squad, including 8 seniors – Mary Cornell, Willow Delgado, Anaijah Gee, Alysia Hughes-Gilmore, Kamryn Morr, Minyon Overton, Shelby Williams, Kelli Williamson.
