State Champion Irish Dance Team to Present “IDT Night” on March 24

Central Catholic’s 6-time state champion Irish Dance Team (IDT) will present “IDT Night” on Sunday, March 24 at 5 p.m. in the Sullivan Center.  Doors open at 4:30 p.m.  Tickets are $7 per person and can be purchased at CentralCatholic.org/tickets, beginning Monday, March 4.

IDT will perform several dances at the event, including its state championship jazz and hip-hop routines.  Guests will also enjoy performances by parents, teachers, and students.

“IDT Night is our end of the season showcase where we perform all of our favorite dances from throughout the season,” said IDT coach and alumna Nikki Toland (Class of 2008).  “We get to share our love of dance, celebrate each other as a team, and have fellow students, staffulty, and family in on the fun.  This year, we are excited to add in a special performance from our future Irish dancers.  This event really gives the audience a glimpse into what it means to be Irish.  It has become my favorite event that we do here at Central Catholic, and we hope to see you all there!”

Along with “IDT Night,” CCHS will host a Team Clinic on Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m.-Noon in the Sullivan Center. Students (PreK-8) will learn a routine that they will perform on March 24.  The cost to attend the clinic is $30 per student and each camper will receive a clinic t-shirt if registered by Friday, March 15. Please visit https://bit.ly/42V5OQz to register and attend the 1-day clinic.
