What advice would you give to women in your respective field?
I would like women in business to be encouraged and know that they are enough! Therefore, they should remain confident in their knowledge, skills, and abilities that they bring to the table. Most of all I would want them to trust in Proverbs 18:16 - "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men."
If you could pick any historical female to have dinner with, who would it be and why?
I would choose Maya Angelou because she was an inspirational woman of color who overcame adversities and still achieved great achievements. I would have loved to have collaborated with her to write a poem.
What does Women’s History Month mean to you?
It reflects the achievements and sacrifices of women across multicultural lines, which have benefited society as a whole.
What do you appreciate most about Central Catholic High School?
Since I'm a Christian lady, I sincerely appreciate not having to bite my tongue or feel like I have to sneak around when it comes to sharing my belief in Jesus.
